I have worked with almost two hundred bands over the past ten years and of all these bands, The Josties have impressed me the most as a band who needs to be heard by a wider audience because their music is more universal than just bluegrass or acoustic gospel music. With their stellar songwriting and performance skills, the package they present can be enjoyed by all ages from children to adults. Their music sends a message of the hope of God and the value of a loving family. You will fall in love with their whole family and they will be an asset to any conference, festival, or other gathering.

Although some Sunday morning services go just as planned, the worship can seem lacking. On the other hand, there are times when the Holy Spirit surprises us and we are blessed in unexpected ways. Such was the case when the Jost family visited our Chapel in Thessalon Ontario, last summer. Their grace and willingness to allow the Spirit's prompting created an atmosphere of worship in our meeting that Sunday morning. The blessing of seeing a family praise the Lord in music together, their original lyrics of worship and praise along with sweet voices blending in harmony to the praise of the Lord Jesus Christ, blessed us richly. If your church has the opportunity to host the Jost family, seize it!

We recently had the privilege of having the ministry of the Jost Family at our church. It was truly a blessing in every sense of the word!!! Not only do they present the gospel through their music, their testimony of family, is truly God honouring. I would strongly recommend the Jost family to everyone. Please feel free to contact me in person.

Ephesians 5:19 says- -“speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,”
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be part of a large family? We found out and what a joy it was for our church to have the Jost family live out this verse for us. Their ministry in both hymns, spiritual songs and practical demonstration of the presence of the Lord in a family was uplifting and encouraging. Their testimonies spoke of a “heart relationship” that flows out first to their family and then to others. It was a blessing to see them interact with each other and to be servants to one another, working together to get things done. Lisa has been gifted by the Lord to put together many of the songs that they sing which speak so clearly about the Lord and His provision and blessing that is so readily available to us. If you want to host an event that strengthens Biblical values and the family, I would encourage you to have the Josts visit your church.

Having the Josties at the Met earlier this summer was simply an amazing blessing. They sang for our seniors group and were an instant hit. God has blessed this family with a warmth and unity that you can't miss as they sing and share God's love. Much of their original music centres on the blessing of family and obedience to Christ as the foundation of a fruitful and joy-filled life. Their down-home, humble country style belies the excellent quality of music that they present, with skillful instrumentation and tight vocal harmonies. Our prayer is that they will be able to make a return visit to be able to minister to our greater church family here in Ottawa.
