Mid-way tour update
Wow, so much has happened since leaving home. It’s truly been amazing to see God’s goodness this trip.
Here’s a brief a summary of our stops along the way.
Our first concert was in Morden, MB at Morden Friendship Centre on April 23rd. We had a great time with them and hung out with Kevin Minnett and gang there. Next concert was in Winkler, MB at the Winkler Mennonite Church Canada. We did a joint concert with Reimers and the Gospel Echoes ministry.
On Sunday April 25th we were with the Bethel Baptist Church in Winnipeg. We had an awesome time with our “aunt” Judy Ford there again.
On April 28th we were with the Faith Baptist church in Echo Bay, ON. It was great being with them again. Got to stay with some new, dear friends. Always blown away by the kind generosity of that group.
April 29th we were in Massey Bible Chapel in Ontario. First time to that church, and again, we really love the rich fellowship with many Christians all across Canada…even on the first meeting!
April 30th we were with our great friends the Minnetts to have a concert at the Englehart High School. Jim and Judy sure have become dear friends to our family and we are always blessed by their hard work and prayer for the concerts they host.

On Sunday May 2nd we were with the Strongman family to have a concert in the Highview Baptist church in Huntsville. The Strongmans have 8 kids and it was super to spend some time with them again. There was such a lively group with a packed church!
May 3rd and 4th we were able to be with our friends the Hounsomes again.
May 5th we were with the Ivy Church in Ivy Ontario. This concert was promoted by the Kiezebrink family and we sure enjoyed staying with them this year.
On the 7th we were in Fenwick and the Zion Free Reformed church. So blessed by all the young families who came and encouraged us. It is also exciting to have opportunities to pray with folks for specific needs and then hear later how God answered. He is so awesome!
On the 9th we were in Tillsonburg, ON. We loved meeting some special friends here…the Curreys are a great bunch! Also got to see some of the Heikoops along with dear Elizabeth and James with baby Katelyn:-)

On the 10th we headed to the Crossroads studio in Burlington to be on the 100 Huntley show. We loved our experience there, despite the lack of sleep the night before. The staff there were just wonderful to us.
On 100 Huntley Street
On the 11th we were in Markham, Ontario. Wow, it was really fun to have our dear friends open the concert for us. The Forget-Me-Nots are such special people and we also loved spending 2 nights in their amazing home! Tennis and inspiring conversation were definite highlights with them.

On the 13th we were in Deux Montagnes AGC Peoples Church. We can truly say that Montreal stole our hearts on this trip. We got to meet and fellowship with two amazing missionary/pastorate families, the Barr’s and the Jones’. The Jones’ family also has a music ministry and they did a couple songs mid way through the concert. We were so blessed by the open hearts of the group we sang to in Deux Montagnes and hope to return avec une chanson en francais:-)
With the Barr and Jones families
On the 15th we rolled into Geary, NB. It was awesome to reconnect with all our dear friends there. On Sunday morning we did a concert at the Geary Baptist church. Once again, these incredible people wrapped their hearts around us. James Carr, a young man in the church, hosted our family in his home (while he and a couple older Jost guys slept elsewhere). Women in the church kept us MORE than well fed all week! We were treated to Lobster/Shrimp chowder, barbecues, New Brunswick stew, excellent baking and meals that certainly extended our caloric intake beyond necessary amounts! We sure bonded to many folks throughout the community during the week.
Sunday evening we did a concert in Burtts Corner NB. Several Geary friends joined us at concerts in the area and kept us on our toes:-)
On The 19th we were in the New Maryland Baptist church. Another musical family, the Eagles came and it was neat to connect with them. The pastor told us that a man he had been praying for for several years, who had promised him he would attend church one day but hadn’t yet, actually came to our concert in this church! The Pastor was pretty encouraged. We pray that God will water any seeds planted that night.
On Friday, May. 21st we were with the Lincoln Baptist church. Well, Pastor Steve diligently advertised and promoted this concert, and the church was overflowing with folks from many area churches and the surrounding community. What a lively, enthusiastic crowd who sent us off with much love and blessings. New Brunswick is certainly a province full of genuinely ind-hearted and friendly folk.

Today we will be heading over into PEI and are looking forward to reconnecting with our friends there. Once again, thank you SO much to all of you who have been praying for us! God is so faithful.
Blessings in Christ,
The Josties
